Have you ever seen this "strange" water bird?

  On 16th and 17th January, some shutterbugs took some pictures of rare water birds on Nujiang riverside. They have a gray back, a white belly and a long, curved pointy beak like crested ibis. The wild animal protection workers recognized this "strange" water bird is included in the < national waterfowl protection beneficial or of important economic and scientific value of terrestrial wild animal list > and the World Conservation Union (IUCN) 2013 red list of endangered species ver 3.1-- low risk (LC) of the ibisbill, it is also the first time discovered the ibisbill in the territory of Lushui. This year, the ibis snipe appeared for the first time in the Lushui, adding a different landscape to Liuku city.(Nujiang Newspaper/Luo Jinhe)
