Recently, the reporter took high-definition images of the Macaca assamensis in the Nujiang area of Gaoligong Mountain National Nature Reserve. In the picture, the monkeys bathed in the warm spring sun, or leisurely foraging, or combing each other, enjoy the pleasant time.

Macaca assamensis belong to the genus Macemidae, and the IUCN Red List of threatened species evaluates them as nearly endangered. Because of its body slightly larger than macaques, fat, simple like a bear named. It is mainly distributed in Yunnan, Xizang, Guizhou, Guangxi and other places, among which Nujiang Prefecture is one of the important distribution areas of Macaca assamensis.
